Absolutely delicious if you have a chance to make them!
Meatballs:
2lbs ground bear
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Sauce:
1 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup fresh or canned pineapple pieces
1/3 cup jam (I used homemade cranberry/currant jam) High bush cranberry, or blueberry jam would be excellent too
1/3 cup ketchup
3 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
Instructions Meatballs: Mould into balls, I used an ice cream scoop. Bake on greased baking sheet at 375°F for 25 mins.
Sauce: Bring to a simmer, cook until the sauce starts to thicken. Approx 15mins. Put cooked meatballs in a greased casserole dish, cover with sauce and cook for another 15 minutes at 375°F.
